Castleisland RFC Split the Bucket Wins Doing the Rounds of the Parishes

Garry O’Sullivan, Currow (right) accepts a cheque for €810 on behalf of his brother Jack from Castleisland RFC committee member and player, Joseph Sheehy at the club-house on Saturday night.

Last week’s Castleisland RFC Split the Bucket winner was Jack O’Sullivan from Currow.

Jack won €810 but was unavailable to receive the cheque at the weekly Saturday night draw at the Castleisland RFC clubhouse.

His brother Garry stepped in to collect the winnings from committee member and club player, Joseph Sheehy.

Garry did the honours and dipped into the drum and drew out this week’s winner, Mike Mansfield from Ballymacelligott for €750. Mr. Mansfield played in the Half Way Bar and Shop.

“In recent weeks Split the Bucket winners have emerged from Castleisland and Knocknagoshel, Currow and Ballymacelligott.

“Who will be next and where will it go this weekend. Make sure to get your entry in the bucket to be in with a chance to win the draw on Saturday night at 9pm at The Shoemaker’s Bar,” said club PRO Brian O’Sullivan.
