Betty Walsh is the Latest Split the Bucket Draw Winner

Mossie Murphy’s sister Esther collected his Split the Bucket winning cheque for €763 on his behalf from club Chairman, Bill Horgan at Saturday night’s draw in the the Half Way Bar in Ballymacelligott.

Last week’s Castleisland RFC Split the Bucket winner was, yet again, Mossie Murphy and this time €763 was the prize.

Mossie’s sister Esther collected the cheque on his behalf from club Chairman, Bill Horgan at Saturday night’s draw in the the Half Way Bar in Ballymacelligott.

Local man and new host at the premises, Thomas McQuinn stepped up to the draw drum and picked out out this week’s winner.

The prize of €814 came back to town and to Moanmore to Betty Walsh, Limerick  Road whose daughter, Marion is a previous draw winner and whose family has a long association with rugby in Castleisland.

The club thanks Thomas McQuinn and the staff of the Half Way Bar for hosting the draw.

The next draw on at Moloney’s Cake Shop on the coming Saturday afternoon.

How to Play Split the Bucket

Split the Bucket draw envelopes are available in shops and pubs throughout this and neighbouring parishes.

You simply put your €2 in the envelope, seal it and sign it and add your telephone number and pop it in the bucket or the club coloured, red and blue stands.
