Last week’s winners of the Castleisland RFC Split the Bucket Draw were sisters, Áine and Linda Kennedy and they won €710.
Their mother, Margaret entered the lucky envelope on their behalf in Moloney’s Cake Shop.
Linda works at An Ríocht and she collected the winning cheque from Tom Long of Diarmuid’s Butchers. Diarmuid wasn’t available at the time of the draw so Tom did the honours and picked out this week, winner.
Castleisland Desmonds player, Cian Dom O’Connor was a last minute entry in the Shoemaker’s Bar as the contents of the buckets were being collected.
Cian will have a cheque for €700 awaiting collection at next Saturday night’s draw at Fagin’s Bar at around 9pm.
How to Play Split the Bucket
Split the Bucket draw envelopes are available in shops and pubs throughout this and neighbouring parishes.
You simply put your €2 in the envelope, seal it and sign it and add your telephone number and pop it in the bucket or the club coloured, red and blue stands.
