Last week’s Castleisland RFC Split the Bucket Draw winner Betty Walsh collected her winnings of €733 from Tom McCarthy at The Central Bar during Saturday night’s draw.
Tom picked out this week’s winner and it turned out to be Cathleen O’Connor of the local coach / bus hire firm.
Cathleen played Split the Bucket for her grandchildren: Caoimhe, Cáit and Meabh O’Connor and they won €700.
What a lovely surprise for them. The next draw is on at 9pm on Saturday night at the Shoemaker’s Bar.
Castleisland RFC members and Split the Bucket organisers wish all their supporters the best of luck as they continue to support the weekly draw.
How to Play Split the Bucket
Split the Bucket draw envelopes are available in shops and pubs throughout this and neighbouring parishes.
You simply put your €2 in the envelope, seal it and sign it and add your telephone number and pop it in the bucket or the club coloured, red and blue stands.
