Sliabh Luachra Camogie Club Splits the Bucket with Hosts Castleisland Rugby Club

Castleisland RFC member John Riordan was on hand to present Caoimhe O’Connor with a €700 winning cheque on behalf of her sisters Cáit and Meabh and in the presence of Nana Kathleen at the Shoemaker’s Bar.

Last week’s Castleisland RFC Split the Bucket Draw winner was local woman, Kathleen O’Connor and her grandchildren, Caoimhe, Cáit and Meabh.

Club member John Riordan was on hand to present Caoimhe with a €700 winning cheque on behalf of the family and in the presence of Kathleen at the Shoemaker’s Bar.

Draw host Steve Curtin dug deep to pick out this week’s draw winner for €703 and it went to the local Sliabh Luachra Camogie Club.

Second Camogie Club Win

This a second and welcome win for the club members as they are currently fundraising for an under-age team trip to Croke Park next month.

The club, supporting their hosts at Castleisland Rugby Club, also won €748 in the Split the Bucket draw at the end of last May.

The coming weekend’s draw will be held in the Sue Ryder’s Shop, Lower Main Street on Saturday at 5pm.

How to Play Split the Bucket

Split the Bucket draw envelopes are available in shops and pubs throughout this and neighbouring parishes.
