Castleisland INTO Branch Honours Retired Teachers

The Castleisland Branch of the Irish National Teachers Organisation (INTO) held a retirement function recently to honour teachers from the branch who retired in recent years. 

The teachers, who had clocked up an estimated 400 years of service between them, gathered at The Royal Hotel in Killarney where presentations were made to them to mark their contributions to the INTO and on their retirements.

The Honoured

Teachers who were honoured on the night included: Moira Quinlan, Moyderwell NS; Eibhlín Uí Churtáin, Gaelscoil Aogáin; Pádraigín Uí Chonaill, Gaelscoil Aogáin; Marina O’Connor, Castleisland Boys’ National School; Kay O’Connor, Currow NS; Marie Lyons, Kilmurry NS; Catherine O’Sullivan, Scartaglen NS and Peggy Linane, Clogher NS.
