After the success of July 9th free tea party – they’re doing it all again in Brosna on Sunday.

The free of charge tea-party, chat and sing-along afternoon was held in Halla na Féile last month and now  another similar gathering has been arranged for the coming Sunday, August 20th from 2pm to 5pm.

The event, organised by Sheila Heery and the Brosna Parish Hall committee, is being flagged as an ‘Older Person’s Afternoon of Tea / Cake/ Chat and Singalong’ and you’re invited to ‘just arrive’ and join them for a casual relaxed, social gathering to reconnect with the community.

A Cup in the Hand and Music

“Have a cup of tea while local musicians play some tunes and lead a sing-along. There may be a free bus service available for the Brosna / Knocknagoshel areas – if there are sufficient numbers,” the flyer advises.

The organisers are asking the people of the area to encourage their elderly relatives, neighbours and friends to join them on Sunday between 2pm and 5pm.
