The death has occurred of Mary A. Horan, nee Walsh, Alexandria, Virginia and formerly of Cordal East, Castleisland, Co. Kerry on October 3, 2023.
She is predeceased by her husband Mike, her parents John and Catherine, her sisters Susan, Kitty, Norah and Grace, her brothers, Patrick, David, Thomas, Richard, George and Sean, and her nephews John Joe, Richard, Gerard and Joseph.
Sadly, missed by her sister-in- law Eileen Walsh, Ireland, her USA nieces and nephews, Cathy Sowers, Kathleen Gaffney, Tom Duffy, John Duffy, Katherine McCafferty and Catherine Carroll, her nieces and nephews in Ireland, Jer Walsh, Kathleen Smith, Patrick Walsh, Nora Walsh, Richard Walsh, Margaret Travis in England; Sonny Walsh, Susan Foley, Margaret O’Connor, Catherine Hunt, John Sheehy, Edward Sheehy, John Walsh, Con Walsh, grandnieces, grandnephews, great grandnieces, great grandnephews relatives and friends.
Mary A’s Funeral Arrangements
Reposing at Good Shepherd Catholic Church (8710 Mt. Vernon Highway, Alexandria, VA) at 1pm on this Thursday, October 12, 2023.
Followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 2pm (7pm Irish time). To be interred with her beloved husband Mike at a private service in Waterloo, Iowa. Funeral Mass will be streamed live at: https://youtube.com/live/nAGMgixfKX8?feature=share.
