Kerrie’s Love Lives On

I was delighted to see that the funds raised in memory of Kerrie Browne have been transformed into a beautiful area in Kerry University Hospital A&E for young patients.

What a fitting and lasting memorial to Kerrie ensuring that her life’s work as a caring and gentle nurse continues to be felt.

The Future Looks Bright

Apologies for not posting here last week but I was up in glorious Foxford, Co. Mayo completing a full day of Wellbeing Workshops at St Joseph’s Secondary School.

Let me just say that the future of Ireland looks solid thanks to the wonderful students I get to meet in the course of my work.

The first question I ask any of the student groups I coach is Who here wants to make the world a better place? Unfailingly, I find that virtually all of the students stand up.

That’s a wonderful indication that our young citizens have such a strong desire to participate in creating a better future that supports us all. It’s truly inspiring!

Saulte to St. Kieran’s

We salute the great St Kieran’s district team who bowed out against the might of East Kerry.

Well done to our local heroes who were part of the squad and gave so much during the competition.
