Bóthar Ships In-Calf Heifers to Kosovo and Launches Christmas Appeal

Castleisland man Shane McAuliffe, Director of Bóthar pictured at Roscrea Mart with in calf dairy heifers which will be with with their new families in Kosovo in time for Christmas.

Bóthar hosted donor farmers from around the country in Roscrea mart recently as 34 in-calf heifers were sent to Kosovo.

The heifers will be with their new families in time for Christmas and their journey can be followed on Bóthar’s social media accounts.

This work is only made possible through the support of the organisation’s donors.

“Bóthar remains extremely grateful to its supporters for the opportunity to facilitate the life-changing, 32-year mission of Bóthar,” said its Castleisland director Shane McAuliffe.
