The latest Castleisland RFC Split the Bucket Draw was held  at the Shoemaker’s Bar on Saturday night.

Last week’s winner, Pat Hunt from Lyreacrompane for €702 was not available for the weekly cheque presentation ceremony.

Pat is a previous winner of the draw having been lucky with a €734 win in July 2023.

On Saturday night draw host Steve Curtin picked out this week’s winning envelope and it belonged to local banjo player Tom O’Connell from the Scart road. Tom’s envelope hit the right note and won him €723.

Next weekend’s draw is at Eileen’s cafe on Saturday evening at around 4:30pm.
