The death has occurred of Elizabeth ‘Liz’ O’Connor nee Clifford, Castleview, Castleisland, Co. Kerry and formerly of Breahig, Cordal and Carker, Scartaglen.
Peacefully, at home, on April 4th. 2024, in the presence and loving care of her husband Eamonn. Sadly missed by Eamonn, sister Eileen Moynihan, Gneeveguilla; brother Diarmuid Clifford, Adare; brother-in-law Tim, sisters-in-law Margaret and Mary, her adored nephews and nieces, relatives, neighbours and a large circle of friends. May Her Gentle Soul Rest In Peace.
Liz’s Funeral Arrangements
Reposing at Tangney’s Funeral Home, Church Street, Castleisland, on Sunday evening from 5pm to 7pm.
Removal from her residence on Monday morning at 10:30am, arriving to Castleisland Parish Church for Requiem Mass at 11am, followed by Cremation at 2pm at the Shannon Crematorium.
The Mass will be live streamed on www.churchservices.tv/castleisland
No flowers, please. Donations, in lieu, to Palliative Care c/o Tangney’s Funeral Home.

Liz’s husband Eamonn, her sister Eileen, brother Diarmuid and all Liz’s extended family would like to take this opportunity to thank Dr. Patricia Sheehan and all the Palliative Care Team for their extraordinary care of Liz over the last few years.
Thanks are also due to all her wonderful neighbours and many friends who showed exceptional care and kindness to Liz and her family during her long illness.
