Knocknagoshel native Michelle Keane is an independent candidate running in the Castleisland Electoral Area for the upcoming Kerry County Council Elections on June 7th.

As she promised, Michelle organised a peaceful protest to Dáil Éireann today to support TDs, Carol Nolan, Mattie McGrath and Verona Murphy’s objections to the Irish government allowing just a one minute debate on Ireland’s EU Migration Pact.

“This is an insult to the Irish People,” said Michelle.

Never one to let the grass grow under her feet and, while she was at the gates of Dáil Éireann, Michelle called for a general election.

“We have until the 10th of June to stop this EU Migration Pact under the Lisbon Treaty,” she said in Dublin today before turning her thoughts back to the roads around the Castleisland Electoral Area and June 7th.
