Fagin’s Neighbour Mairéad Wins Split the Bucket €737 Draw Prize

At last week’s Castlisland RFC Split the Bucket Draw, local man Paudie O’Shea became another second time winner when the draw was held at Hughes’ Bar in Cordal. Paudie won €737 last week and he won €808 in the draw in Scartaglen just after St. Patrick’s Day last year.

Last week’s Castleisland RFC Split the Bucket winner Paudie O’Shea, Castleisland who won €737 wasn’t available for this week’s draw in Fagin’s Bar on Saturday night.

Bar man Shane Brennan did the honours of picking out this week’s winner of €703 and it turned out that the bar’s Upper Main Street neighbour Mairéad O’Leary.

The coming Saturday’s draw will be held in Jackie Reidy’s Menswear and Newsagents.

And, talking about luck: Paddy Murphy of Tullig and formerly of Ballyegan is a member of the clan which won the Split the Bucket draw several times since it was initiated. Last week Paddy won the pub draws in Kearney’s Bar and in The Crown Bar on the same night.

How to Play Split the Bucket

Split the Bucket draw envelopes are available in shops and pubs throughout this and neighbouring parishes.

You simply put your €2 in the envelope, seal it and sign it and add your telephone number and pop it in the bucket or the club coloured, red and blue stands.
