
The monthly Padre Pio Devotions will be held on the second Tuesday of the month, tomorrow evening October 8th. at 7.30pm.
The witness will be given by Tom Pa O’Connor on the theme: The Storm of Life Blows Foul and Fair.
Tom Pa O’Connor comes from North Kerry from beside and famous Saleen Pier in Tarbert. He is one of the most highly respected figures in Kerry greyhounds racing circles.
He has been in Castleisland at the Padre Pio Devotion evenings before and his down to earth and to the point witness delivery on his battle with cancer has made him a certainty for a recall to Fr. Mossie Brick’s team of speakers for this new season of devotions.
Inspirational Fundraiser
In the late spring of 2022 Tom Pa O’Connor presented cheques amounting to €85,000 to three Kerry cancer treatment charities and he had raised over €125,000 for cancer and hospice care facilities.
You’ll hear Tom Pa’s own story of his journey of recovery at the Padre Pio Devotions in Castleisland parish church tomorrow evening from 7:30pm.

All the regular features of the evening devotions will be in place also on this occasion, the consideration of the contents of the petitions box and Padre Pio’s Healing Glove will be available for blessings on the night.
Anyone with mobility issues will be assisted by members of the stewarding team which attends the devotions on all occasions.
