
Ballymacelligott Vintage Club members were delighted to present a cheque for €1,957 to O’Brennan National School this week.
This was the proceeds from the club’s recent Cars and Coffee morning.
“The very successful event was held on Sunday June 1st on the grounds of Glenduff Manor. We had a fantastic turnout on the day with over 80 classic and vintage vehicles present,” said club spokesman Kieran Glover.
A Loop Towards Lyre
Following the Cars and Coffee event, the group took the opportunity to go on a short run, heading in a loop towards Lyreacrompane and returning to Glenduff Manor afterwards for a barbecue.

“Our next club event will be our annual Car and Hoda 50 Run on Sunday, August 3rd from O’Riadas Bar & Restaurant, Ballymacelligott” said Kieran.
