Fondly remembered by his brothers Dan, Mike John, Jim, sisters Margaret and Nono, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and many good friends at home and in London.

May His Gentle Soul Rest In Peace.
Distinguished on Irish Clay Team
Richie Walsh was a member of a family with distinguished and long standing links with international Clay Pigeon Shooting both at home here and in England.
In the early 1990s Richie was joined on the Irish team by his son Liam and his brothers, Tom (RIP) and John.
That level of exposure to the sport at such a level led, also on the early 1990s, to the founding and opening of the purpose built Castleisland Shooting Grounds at Tulligubeen.
Work on Golf Club
Richie Walsh was also to the fore in the sale of the shooting grounds when the Castleisland Golf Club founding committee came knocking in the early days of 2000.
The kind of heavy duty, earth-moving necessary for the building of the course on the site was just what Richie had made his living from both in England and after his move home.
He and his company and its dedication to the delivery of a top class facility at Tulligubeen were often praised by those well placed to judge.
As the work on the Castleisland Golf Club course was progressing so too was the re-establishment of the shooting grounds – now known as Irish Shooting Sports – at its new base in Meenbanivane, Knocknagoshel.
Richie Walsh, RIP – a man who contributed hugely to the community he lived amongst. May God be good to him.
