The RTÉ Radio One traditional music flagship, The Rolling Wave will include the second and concluding broadcast of recordings made at the May 21st World Fiddle Day in Scartaglin on this Sunday night’s programme from 9pm.

The programme, like last Sunday’s broadcast, will feature the finest of fiddle music from the stage of the Scartaglin Heritage Centre.

The master-of-ceremonies was Con Moynihan and the music was recorded by programme presenter, Peter Browne with local man, Timmy O’Connor on the desk.
Mr. Browne spoke last week of the fine music played in Scart on the night and of how most of what was recorded there will get an airing on one of the programmes.
The Rolling Wave will also be taking a look back at the recent Scoil Samhraidh Willie Clancy in Miltown Malbay and other related issues.
