In May of 2017, a group from Bannalec, in Brittany visited Castleisland and joined with the Castleisland /Sliabh Luachra group in celebrating the 10th Anniversary of the twinning of both areas.

2018 Visit to Bannalec

“This year it is planned that a group from the Castleisland/Sliabh Luachra area will make a return visit to Bannalec, where we will mark the 10th Anniversary of the signing of the twinning charter with them in Brittany,” said spokesman, Hugh O’Connell.

AGM Tonight at 8pm

The association’s annual general meeting will be held tonight, Tuesday, February 27th at 8pm sharp in the River Island Hotel, Castleisland.
