Car Raffle on Saturday

I am delighted to say that the raffle for the fabulous VW Golf is taking place by live stream from Divanes Castleisland on the coming Saturday, October 23rd.

The particulars of the draw, which is being conducted using correct and supervised protocols, will be advised over Brosna GAA Club’s social media channels in the days leading up to the draw.

I am reliably informed there are a few tickets left so please go online to www.brosnagaa.ie.

It’s a beautiful car.  It needs a good home.

Sincere Condolences

We send our very deepest sympathies to Janey and family on the recent sad passing of Sean Tierney.

Mr Tierney was a much loved visitor to Brosna and his family retains an unbreakable connection with our Parish.  You are all in our thoughts at this time.  Rest in Peace, Sean.

Sacraments Received

We send our congratulations to all the children of both National Schools on their recent communions and confirmations.

It’s wonderful that the children, parents and teachers have been able to celebrate these events which are an important rite of passage.

A Sweet Idea

The children in the senior classroom of Scoil Mhuire Brosna are organising a charity Bake Sale in support of The Irish Cancer Society.

The Bake Sale will take place in Brosna Parish Hall on  Saturday, 23rd October, between 7pm and 9pm. Drop in to buy something delicious and support this wonderful initiative.
