St. Patricks’ Secondary School Castleisland proved victorious over Mercy Mount Hawk in the final of the U16 ‘A’ South-West Boys’ League on Friday.
The first half was a very closely contested battle between two evenly matched teams.
However, inspired by some wonderful offensive play by captain, Adam Donoghue in the second half, St. Patrick’s proved to be the better team on the day winning on a final score of 66 -44.
St Patricks now progress to the All Ireland quarter final stages. And good luck to them.
