News of this latest outbreak has been featuring on Joe Duffy’s Liveline again in recent days.
I’ve just got a call from one of these numbers now.
It began with: +252 4030……. and I Googled it and found that it’s the code for Somalia.
Don’t Call Back
It’s a world-wide problem it seems and the advise is not to answer the call and don’t call back.
It’s a scam and holds nothing but misfortune for those foolish enough to fall for it.
There is very little help or comeback or, indeed sympathy available if you’re caught.
