Highs and Lows in Ladies Final

Desmonds ladies played in the North Kerry Ladies U-16 Division 1 Shield final on Sunday away to Na Gaeil.
It was a game of highs and lows as the scores swung from an early, seven point advantage to Na Gaeil to a half time score which saw Desmonds ladies lead by 2-7 to 3-1.

This lead was extended by the Castleisland girls by a further seven points but unfortunately the pendulum swung in favour of the Tralee girls from there to the end of the game.
Final score Castleisland Desmonds 3-11 to Na Gaeil 6-11.
It was an exciting and robust but clean game.

Despite having a small panel on the day each of the girls gave a great account of themselves and battled to the final whistle.
