On Wednesday last our U-14 team played Renard in their Feile D semi final in Glenbeigh.
In a game where Currow wasted plenty of opportunities and where Renard had taken theirs, Currow proved to have the edge in this tight contest winning on a score line of Currow 3-4 to Renard’s 3-3.
After their semi final victory it was onto Farranfore to play Desmonds in the final. In another tense encounter, Currow won the final by a single point 1-9 to Desmond’s 1-8.
This means Currow will represent Kerry in the John West Féile na nÓg competition in Ulster in June.
Well done to the team and mentors on this huge achievement. Hopefully they can make it two in a row.
