A breaking news text just arrived from Kate McSweeney from An Riocht Athletic Club to alert Couch 2-5K fans everywhere that the RTE camera crew will be ‘back on track’ on Thursday night at 7pm with former Kerry star goalkeeper, Paudie O’Mahoney and his Operation Transformation understudy, Richard Harnett.
They’re looking for the proverbial cast of thousands to come out and show their support for Paudie and Richard as they lead a walk around the flood-lit track at the club.
“We’ve just got word here at Riocht that Paudie O’Mahoney – a contestant on ‘Operation Transformation’ will lead a walk on the track on this Thursday 6th February at 7pm!! We are looking for a record crowd for this walk/couch to 5k session,” said the same Kate.
Let’s hope that the weather will be a little kinder that the OT visit on January 16th.
