The Castleisland Bereavement Group has issued an open invitation to people of the locality and beyond to ‘Consider Yourself  One of Us’  for a day trip to South Kerry. And there isn’t a hint of Faginism in the overall cost.

The event will take place on Saturday, August 23rd and an O’Connor’s Coach will leave the Old Library at the top-of-the-town at 8-30am that morning.

There will be stops along the way on a day that promises to be full of surprises.

“Feel free to come along and bring a friend. The coach trip is laid on with compliments of the group and the only cost in the day is a €20 lunch contribution which will cover the group’s stop

“We were formed in 2011 and the group has grown from strength to strength. We’re taking every opportunity to let people out there know that there’s no need to suffer in silence and on your own,” said Jean.

“We are there for each other and we can assure you of total confidence and we are supported by a whole list of agencies which can steer people along a course to where they learn to deal with their great loss.

“Eilish Moynihan is a founder member and present chairperson and, through our poster campaign and putting the word out, we are getting more people to attend our gatherings. The trip to South Kerry is something we’re all looking forward to and we are encouraging anyone recently bereaved to come and join us on the trip,”said Jean.
