This Thursday, September 18th is the date set for this year’s National Hospice Coffee Morning.  The Castleisland Branch of the Kerry Hospice Foundation will host its coffee morning in the former Dress For Less premises on Lower Main street at Dave Geaney’s Corner.

Coffee mornings will also be hosted in upper Main street at the home of Tom McCarthy next door to and above Martin Curtin’s shop and at Knocknagoshel Community Centre.  Anyone else who might be interested in hosting a similar event at home or in the work-place is invited to contact local chairman, Jack Shanahan on 066 71 41225 or any committee member.  If anyone would like to bake for any of the gatherings mentioned it would be most appreciated and can be handed in to the venue on the day.

“This is a very worthy cause and one of the main fundraisers in the locality for the Kerry Hospice Foundation each year.  All funds raised locally will remain in Kerry,” according to  the local organising branch members.
