Marie Walsh’s next day trip is to the National Ploughing Championships in Co. Laois on Wednesday of next week, September 24th. The coach will depart Castleisland at 6am.; Tralee at 6.20am. and from Listowel at 6.45am. Cost €25
“The trip last week to the Cliffs of Moher & Lisdoonvarna was one of the most enjoyable to date. The fabulous weather got everyone in party mode and mood. The new and improved Cliffs are spectacular. The shops are embedded into the mountain side, giving a quaint impression of the place,” said Marie.
“The stunning views from the Cliffs and of the Atlantic Ocean are breath-taking. Lisdoonvarna was alive with music. We wined and dined at the Hydro Hotel where Kathleen, one of the group won a Leah’s Food Hamper.
Everyone else won a voucher from the shops in Castleisland. We danced in every pub and were truly sad leaving it. The journey home was shortened by the talent on board. Ann Marie, Marge, Jean and John were top of the talent list. They were closely followed by Jimmy our driver who kept us laughing with his many jokes. We’re looking forward to the next trip there,” said Marie.
