“We are absolutely delighted to be shortlisted for the Bank of Ireland Munster Rugby Sponsor for a Day Competition. We are one of five companies from across Munster which are vying for public support since voting opened on Monday, November 24th,” said a delighted company director, Shane McAuliffe as the voting opened on Monday morning.
“It’s great to be in with a chance to get our logo on the front of the Munster Rugby jersey at the Munster versus Sale Sharks match on the January 25th. The other companies are from Cork, Tipperary and Waterford so we would really appreciate that everyone in Kerry would vote for us especially as we are the only local company shortlisted,” said Shane.
Shane is also flying the Castleisland Rugby tradition flag and calls on all voters to consider what places like Currow and the valley here have contributed to Irish men’s and women’s Rugby in recent and not so recent years.
“This great news comes at a very busy time for us as our new website is ready to go live and we have delicious Truly Irish Christmas Horseshoe Gammon Hams on sale online or over the phone. To celebrate the competition I will have plenty of hams to give away on the Truly Irish Facebook page and I would also like to give a ham to The Maine Valley Post to run as a competition on your website to promote our news,” said a delighted Shane this morning.
“The voting is open for a three week period – so don’t forget to go to www.independent.ie/sponsorforaday and vote for Truly Irish!,” he urged. You can click on the live link here and cast your vote.
