Castleisland Community College has organized a Gaelic Football Blitz with participation as its key priority. The event will be held on this Monday, May 18th at Castleisland Desmonds GAA Club pitch at Moanmore.
Eight  local local primary schools and over 230 primary school children will be participating in the event.

Jack O’Connor Will Attend
Former Kerry senior team manager and last year’s All-Ireland minor football championship winning manager, Jack O’Connor will be present. Mr. O’Connor holds regular Gaelic Football coaching sessions with Castleisland Community College teams.
As getting involved in physical activity is the key, all children will receive a medal in acknowledgement of their participation in the innovative and activity promoting blitz.

Stars of the Future

If you’d like to check out the health of Gaelic Football in the area and pick out some stars of the future, then Desmonds GAA grounds is the place to be on Monday.

Games will get under way in the morning and will be over by shortly after lunchtime to allow for the presentation of the all important medals of participation and to consider traveling times back to the various schools.
