Féile Drámaíochta, an Irish Drama Festival for primary schools, sponsored by Conradh na Gaeilge, will take place on the coming Thursday night, May 21st in the Ivy Leaf Art Centre, Castleisland starting at 7pm.
“The festival gives the children participating an opportunity to exhibit their acting and musical skills through the Irish language and in relaxed surroundings. This is the fourth running of the festival and each occasion has proved very successful and thoroughly enjoyed by all!
Drama plays an important part in the primary school curriculum and the Féile Drámaíochta succeeds to create a beneficial and enjoyable platform for the children taking part. It inspires the younger generation to have fun while using the Irish Language.

Aisteoireachta agus Ceoil
Beidh féile drámaíochta le haghaidh bunscoileanna ar siúl ar an Déardaoin seo chugainn san Ivy Leaf in Oileán Chiarraí ag tosnú ar a 7.00 i.n., urraithe ag Conradh na Gaeilge. Tugann an fhéile deiseanna do na páistí óga a scileanna aisteoireachta agus ceoil a thaispeaint in atmasféar pleisiurtha os comhair lucht féachana. Seo an ceathrú huair a d’eagraíodh an fhéile agus d’éirigh go hiontach i gcaitheamh gach ócáid.
Tá páirt lárnach ag an drámaíocht sa churaclam bunscoile agus tugann an fhéile ardán tábhachtach agus luachmhar do na páisti ag glacadh páirt agus tugannn sé deiseanna dóibh spórt agus sult a bhaint as a bheith ag labhairt na Gaeilge.
