Plans are all wrapped up and ready for Castleisland AFC to hold its fundraising cycle on Sunday, September 27th 2105.

If you have been bitten by the Ring of Kerry bug, enjoy the scenery of Kerry or you’re just a cycling enthusiast – then the club is inviting you and your equals to take part in this event before the long winter nights arrive.

“Apart from being a great fundraising opportunity this is also a chance to encourage people to join us for a great social occasion and get some gentle exercise,” said club chairman, Patrick O’Rourke.

There are two separate routes over which people of various ability can test their levels of endurance: A 35km route and 75km route to ensure a comfortable experience for all cycling enthusiasts.

The leisure cycle starts at 10.30am from the Castleisland Soccer Grounds on Limerick Road and signing on is from 8:30am to 10am.

Refreshments will be provided along the route as well as food and entertainment after.

Entry is €25 and €20 for Cycling Ireland members. For more information you can visit here or contact Patrick on 087 27 87 094
