More Heavy Rain on the Way – Met Éireann

After the fright of Friday’s massive rainfall, Met Éireann is telling us today that there’s more on the way.

The sky over Cordal and Scartaglin and the surrounding hills looks ominous this afternoon and every drop will drain down into the valley. This will heightening the possibility of flooding and disruption for later on today and tomorrow.

Mostly cloudy today with outbreaks of rain, heavy at times. Poor driving conditions in places from possible surface flooding and poor visibility.
Highest temperatures 14 or 15 degrees.

Tonight
Continuing cloudy tonight with further rain at times.
Lowest temperatures 9 or 10 degrees in moderate northeasterly winds.

Mostly cloudy with further outbreaks of rain, heavy in places with some flooding and disruption possible.
