Today

Wet and windy this morning and rain will become persistent with heavy falls at times, especially in south Munster. Later in the afternoon another band of rain will slowly move in from the west bringing further persistent and widespread rain through the evening. Highest temperatures will range from 14 to 15 degrees. Fresh to strong and gusty southeasterly winds with gale gusts along the coast will gradually decrease moderate to fresh in the late evening.
Tonight

Tonight the rain will gradually clear to just isolated showers by dawn. Lowest temperatures of 9 to 11 degrees in moderate to fresh easterly or southeasterly winds.
Tomorrow

Tomorrow Tuesday, outbreaks of rain will continue to affect northeastern parts of the province but elsewhere in Munster it will be drier with a clearance bringing bright spells and just scattered showers. Highest temperatures of 13 to 14 degrees in moderate to fresh mainly southeasterly winds.
