Huge crowds are expected in Scartaglin this evening and around noon tomorrow for the removal and funeral of the late Mrs. Ann Reidy (nee Hogan) of Mullin.
Mrs. Reidy’s son, Johnny is the well and widely known accordion player and his popularity is expected to be reflected in the attendance at her removal this evening from Daly’s Funeral Home in the village and funeral mass tomorrow at the Church of Our Lady of Lourdes. May God be good to her.

The death has occurred of Ann Reidy (née Hogan) Mullin, Scartaglin.
Peacefully at home on January 3rd 2016 in her 99th year. She will be dearly missed by her son Johnny and devoted daughter-in-law Pauline, her grandchildren Diane and Fiona, their husbands Pádraig and Kevin and her great-grandchildren Jamie and Alex.
May she rest in peace.
Reposing at Daly’s Funeral Home, Scartaglen on Monday January 4th from 5.30pm to 7.30pm followed by removal to the Church of Our Lady of Lourdes, Scartaglen. Requiem Mass on Tuesday at 12 noon followed by burial in Scartaglen cemetery.
