“Brosna Defibrillator Group has been running a 13-week Couch to 5K training programme since January and now that the weeks of training are almost complete we will hold a 5K run in Brosna on Saturday, April 9th at 10am,” said Siobhán Lenihan of the organising group.
Registration from 9am at Brosna GAA Clubhouse. Adults €10. Children €5. Family €20. Everyone Welcome! There will also be a 3K for under 12s. All money raised will go to local charities and causes. Run, Jog or Walk a 3K or 5K timed route !

The group which fundraised for the unit in 2012 is still actively raising funds and supporting other worthy causes in their area.
