Members of Castleisland Hospice fundraising branch would like to thank sincerely all who walked, contributed and helped out in any way during the annual, Good Friday Morning Hospice Walk. A total of €2,548.87 was raised.

Knocknagoshel Community First Responder Meeting
Knocknagoshel parish residents are planning to set up a community first responder group. The aim of the group is to provide care to patients where there is a life threatening situation such as heart attack and to provide vital, early assistance while awaiting the arrival of an ambulance. An Information Evening will be held on Saturday, May 14th at Knocknagoshel Community Centre at 8.45pm. All welcome on the night.

Cordal Resource Centre Cards Take Summer Break

Cards are now finished for the summer and will resume on October 5th. Thanks to everyone for your support throughout the year.
Clothes Collection for Cordal GAA
Cordal GAA Club members are collecting: Clothes, Shoes, Belts, Bags, Curtains and Sheets. This is a continuous collection by the club and all funds raised will help to improve the club’s facilities. Donations can be dropped off at Jackie Reidy’s Menswear, Main St. Castleisland and at the Cordal Community Centre. Thanks to the people in these two premises for assisting us in this matter. Sincere thanks to everyone who has donated recycled goods as there has been a great response so far.

 The May Draw will take place on Sunday Night on the 29th of May in Kearney’s Bar Castleisland. The Senior Players team under Sean Óg O Ciardubhain and John Brosnan are in charge of the Lotto for this month and the new jackpot stands at a huge €6,800.
