County League: Milltown/Castlemaine 2:12 Kerins O’Rahilly’s 2:12
Despite both teams lining out without a number of regulars, this turned out a lively entertaining affair with both sets of players giving it their all. Rahilly’s were quickest out of the traps. The spoils were shared by two teams fielding a number of youngsters who didn’t seem out of their depth in the top tier especially Ciarán O’ Connor who came in to score 1:01 on his debut. Well done to Mike Hickey, Mike Carroll, Timmy Teahan and the entire panel of players. A great team effort.
Next outing for our seniors is on August 14 th when they are away to Castleisland Desmonds.
