The death has occurred of Noreen Greaney (nee McCarthy) 5 St. Stephen’s Park, Castleisland. Peacefully after a short illness on Wednesday July 27th 2016.
Beloved wife of the late Tom and much loved mother of Niall and Denny. Sadly missed by her loving sons, daughters-in-law Helen and Eileen, her adored granddaughters Maria and Abbie, brothers, sisters, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, all extended family, relatives, neighbours and many friends. R.I.P.
A member of one of Castleisland’s oldest and most respected families, Noreen passed away just two days after her sister-in-law, Sheila McCarthy.
Noreen was rushed to hospital on Friday evening after being taken suddenly ill. Family, neighbours and friends in the community held a hopeful vigil since. Sadly, Noreen lost her battle for life yesterday. May God be good to her. The condolences of the community to her sons, Niall and Denny and her family members.
Funeral Arrangements
Reposing at Tangney’s Funeral Home, Castleisland, on Friday evening from 5pm to 7pm. Private removal from her residence on Saturday morning, arriving to Castleisland Parish Church for Requiem Mass at 11am. Burial afterwards in St. John’s Cemetery, Castleisland.
