In his capacity of Cordal Parish Clerk, the late Sonny Boyle made a presentation to the late Fr. The death has occurred of Edward ‘Sonny’ Boyle, (88) Ardnagragh, Cordal, Castleisland. August 10th 2016, peacefully.

Beloved husband of the late Nellie (nee O’Connor).

Sadly missed by his loving son, Eddie, sisters Peggy (Flynn) and Joan (McAuliffe, U.S.A.), brother-in-law John, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and a large circle of friends. R.I.P.

The late Sonny Boyle served his neighobours and his community well as parish clerk over a 21 year period before handing over to the late Tom Wrenn.

He spent most of his working life as a staff member at Castleisland Co-Op Mart. May God be good to him.

Funeral Arrangements

Reposing at Tangney’s Funeral Home, Castleisland, Co. Kerry, on Friday evening from 5pm to 7pm, followed by removal to the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Cordal.
Requiem Mass on Saturday at 12 noon. Burial afterwards in Tobar na bhFionn Cemetery, Cordal. Family flowers only, please. Donations in lieu to The Aghadoe Ward, University Hospital Kerry.
