Dedicated GAA Man
A member of Knocknagoshel GAA Club all his life ‘Connie’ was in his early 60s and the epitome of the dedicated GAA club man. He filled many positions on his local club over several decades without argument, or fuss.
“You could chalk him down as a pure gentleman and you’d be hard pressed to find anyone that he fell out with – it wasn’t his way of doing things – and you wouldn’t catch him in the limelight either,” – was how one GAA colleague of his paid tribute to him. May God be good to him.
Reposing at Leahy’s Funeral Home, Knocknagoshel Monday evening from 5pm to 7pm followed by removal to St. Mary’s Church, Knocknagoshel. Requiem Mass for Con will take place on Tuesday at 12 noon.
Burial afterwards in Kilbannivane Cemetery, Castleisland. Family flowers only please. Donations in lieu, if desired to The Palliative Care Unit, University Hospital Kerry, care of Leahy’s Funeral Home, Knocknagoshel, Co. Kerry,
