The death has occurred of Cornelius ‘Connie’ Reidy, Mein, Knocknagoshel, Co. Kerry

Con, who was pre-deceased by his sister Mary Power, will be sadly missed by his sister Eileen Cronin, Aunt Lil, brother-in-law John, nieces, nephews, grand-nieces, grand-nephew, relatives, neighbours and friends.  May He Rest in Peace.

Dedicated GAA Man

A member of Knocknagoshel GAA Club all his life ‘Connie’ was in his early 60s and the epitome of the dedicated GAA club man. He filled many positions on his local club over several decades without argument, or fuss.

“You could chalk him down as a pure gentleman and you’d be hard pressed to find anyone that he fell out with – it wasn’t his way of doing things – and you wouldn’t catch him in the limelight either,” – was how one GAA colleague of his paid tribute to him. May God be good to him.
