Cathaoirleach of Kerry County Council, Cllr. Michael O’Shea opened and signed the Book of Condolence for the late Anthony Foley today.

The book for the late Munster and Irish rugby player and Munster coach was opened by Kerry County Council from 12 noon today, Monday.

All seven local authorities in Munster had agreed to do so from the same time.

The book will be available for signing by members of the public at the reception of County Buildings in Rathass during office hours for the coming days.

A contemporary of Currow’s Mick Galwey, Anthony Foley’s death came as a deep shock when it was announced in the hours leading up to his beloved Munster’s big game against the Ronan O’Gara coached Racing 92 in Paris on Sunday.
