Christmas Cooking Fun Evening Not to be Missed

Members of the public are being invited to Thursday evening’s Christmas Cookery Demonstration and Tasting Evening at Kerry College of Further Education, Tralee.

On promise is a thoroughly enjoyable evening with tips and tricks from host KCFE Chef /teacher, Kay Lanigan-Ryan.

Spirit of the Festive Season

“Christmas themed cookery evenings are always a nice way to get into the spirit of the festive season making for a fun night out with family and friends,” said said Mary Murphy of KCFE.

“With a wealth of experience in high profile hotels both in Ireland and Australia, and having recently graduated with a Masters in Culinary Arts Management, Kay runs the ‘Professional Cookery Programme’ at the college and promises to share her expertise for perfecting the annual Christmas delights on the night,” said Ms. Murphy.

Memories for Children

The audience will learn how to create memories for children with Kay giving some interesting ideas on how to involve them in the kitchen fun.

Edible gifts and alternatives to the traditional food items will be just part of the focus as Kay will demonstrate ice cream based Christmas pudding, Christmas logs, truffles, chocolate biscuits, savory canopies and so much more.

Tickets for this St. Vincent De Paul fundraiser event – which is being held on Thursday, December 8th. commencing at 6.30pm – are priced at €10.
