A reminder that Castleisland Chamber Alliance, in association with AIB Castleisland, invite you to their giant / joint 2016 Christmas party on Main Street which will take place on this Saturday, December 3rd from 4.30pm to 6pm.

The weather looks like it’s going to be far more obliging than last year’s but it will be cold and Christmassy and wrapping up is the main advice in coping with it and all the fun of the evening.

Blessing of the Crib

This year we will start the festivities with the blessing of the Nativity Crib at The Fountain. The ceremony will be accompanied by carol singing from the students of Gaelscoil Aogáin,” said chamber PRO, Jeremy Burke.

The street entertainment will include live music from St. Patrick’s School students’ band and the KDYS Musical Society.

Of course Santa Clause will be out and about and there will be treats provided for children.

Highlight of the Evening

Kerry football star, James O’Donoghue will officially turn on our Christmas Lights and we will finish with a spectacular fireworks display that will undoubtedly be the highlight of the evening,” Mr. Burke concluded.
