Knocknagoshel GAA Club: Good Luck to John in Corn Uí Mhuirí Replay

Well done to John Walsh who played with CBS Tralee in the semi final of the Corn Uí Mhuirí on Saturday last in Mallow.

The game finished level after extra time and will be replayed at the end of February. We wish him best of luck in the replay.

No Lotto Jackpot Winner at Moynihan’s

The lotto draw for a jackpot of €5700 was held on Saturday night last in Moynihan’s Bar, Headley’s Bridge.

The numbers drawn were: 3, 22, 23 and 28. There was no winner of the jackpot. The five lucky dips of €30 each subsequently drawn went to: Shane O’Connell, Tulligubeen; Kathleen Brosnan, Knockbrack; Betty O’Connor, Meenganaire; Adam Long, New York and Mary McAuliffe, Knocknagoshel.

The next draw will be for a jackpot of €5,800 and will be held in O’Connor’s Bar on Saturday, March 4th.

Fixtures: Season Underway for Club Teams

Knock/Brosna minors will get their season underway on Saturday February 18th when they welcome Skellig/Valentia/Sneem/Derrynane to Willie Walsh Park. Throw in is at 4p.m.

There will be a training session for the minor team on this Saturday, February 11th at 4p.m. in Knocknagoshel and all players from 14 years up are invited to attend.

Niall Barrett and Mike Murphy will be the Knocknagoshel mentors for this year with the minor team.

Knocknagoshel start their season in the North Kerry League this Sunday 12th February with a 1.30pm throw in at Knocknagoshel.
