Sharon Shannon is due to appear at Ó Riada’s Bar and Restaurant in Ballymacelligott on Friday night, February 24th from 8pm.
Tickets for the show are only €20 each and many have been bought as presents over the past couple of weeks.
This is the third visit by the Co. Clare born musical genius to the Ballymac venue at this time of the year and her two previous gigs were sell-out affairs.
She will be accompanied on this occasion again by the also musically gifted Alan Connor.
Show Opened By Proinsias O’Sullivan
The Shannon show will be preceded by talented Castleisland singer/songwriter, Proinsias O’Sullivan who will be singing some of his own work and covers of songs by well known Irish singers.
Prionsias is awaiting his new CD to roll off the presses during the week and is also looking forward to St. Patrick’s Day and weekend tour to Germany – where bookings in different venues there has already passed the half dozen mark and rising.
