The Quality and Qualifications Ireland (QQI) Level 5 Art, Craft and Design Post Leaving Certificate students at Kerry College of Further Education, Tralee are currently putting the finishing touches to a major exhibition of their year’s work.

What promises to be a very inspiring and interesting Art and Craft Exhibition will be held at the college on this Thursday evening between 6pm and 8pm.

Showcase of Pieces

“The event is open to the public and is a showcase of the many pieces of work students produced during their one year course of study at the college,” said college spokesperson, Mary Murphy.

“This exhibition promises to excite, inspire and enrich those who attend. The course is run by Mary Kirby and Eileen Kennedy. It is a great preparatory step for those considering applying for places in third level colleges.

A Big Turnout

“We’re hoping for a big turnout on the night in support of the hard work the students have put into organising the event.

“So we invite the public to sample the artistic delights this Thursday evening. Admission is free and light refreshments will be served on the night,” said Ms. Murphy.
