No Jackpot Winner at March Lotto
There wasn’t a winner of the Cordal GAA Club March 2017 Lotto Jackpot. The numbers called were 7, 18, 26 and 31.

Winners of a ticket for our Lisa McHugh Concert were Marie Moore, Cahereens West and Sadhbh O’Connor, Knockananlig, Castleisland. The five Lucky Dips of €30 went to: Mike Mangan c/o Kerins O’Rahillys; Adele McCarthy, Desmonds Avenue; Aaron O’Sullivan, Scartaglin;  Seamus Lucey, Kilcummin and Suzanne Murphy, Scartaglin.

Thanks to Maurice Costello, Jimmy Roche, Elaine Moriarty and to all the many others involved in another successful Lotto for the month of March. Thanks to all the people who supported the March Lotto. As always it is much appreciated by our club.

Minor County League Division 2 Round 4

Cordal/Scart V Kilgarvan/Tuosist/Templenoe

Cordal/Scart took on Kilgarvan/Tuosist/Templenoe in Cordal on Saturday, March 25th. Cordal/Scart were motivated to secure a win in honour of their teammate Sean Horan who has been forced to retire from the field for the rest of the season due to injury.

The boys gave a strong performance and added two more points to their league tally, winning by a goal with 2-10 to the opponent’s 1-10.

Cordal/Scart V Listowel Emmets: Round 5 of the Division 2 County League will be played in Listowel GAA at 6pm this Friday.

April Lotto in The Half Barrel
The Lotto Jackpot for April stands at €2,400. The Lotto Draw will take place on Sunday, April 30th in the Half Barrel Bar, Castleisland.

As always you can get your Lotto tickets from our sellers. You can also buy them at Kearney’s Post Office or at Jackie Reidy’s Menswear.

Cordal GAA Club Table Quiz
Cordal GAA Club would like to thank all those who made it to our table quiz last Friday night. It was a great night for all and thanks for supporting us.

Cordal Clothes Collection
Cordal GAA appeal to you to donate your clean clothes, pairs of shoes, belts, handbags, curtains and bedlinen. No duvets or pillows please. This is a continuous collection by our Club and all funds raised will help to improve the Club’s facilities and contribute to the Club’s running costs. Donations can be dropped off at Jackie Reidy’s Menswear, Main St. Castleisland or at the Cordal Community Centre. Thanks to everyone helping this collection to be a continuing success.

Lisa McHugh Concert Launch
On Sunday, April 9th at 7:45pm in Hughes’ Bar Cordal GAA Club will officially launch our 2017 fundraiser, The Lisa McHugh Concert.

The concert/dance will take place in Castleisland Community Centre on Friday, July 28th.

All are welcome to the grand launch where the first tickets will go on sale for the event.
