Loughfouder NS 5K / 3K Fun Run Walk on Saturday

Loughfouder National School will hold its first 5k/3k Fun Run/Walk on Saturday, May 6th. Registration begins at 11am at the school.

The cost is €10 for adults €5 for children and €20 per family.

12 Noon Start

The start time is 12 noon and the route goes to Carthy’s Cross on the Brosna/Castleisland Road and back to the school.

It is a timed event. There is a 3k for children.

There are prizes for the 3k boys and girls and 5k boys, girls, men’s and women’s.

There will be medals for all children participating.

Extra-Curricular Activities Fund

There will be refreshments for everyone at the school afterwards.

“We are hoping for a big turnout as this is a fundraiser for the many extra-curricular activities at the school,” said principal Elizabeth Lane.
