Cordal Minor makes Major History

Congratulations to Cordal’s Seán O’Connell who made club history on Tuesday evening when he captained the Kerry U-17s v Tipperary in Austin Stack Park.

Seán led his side to a Munster U-17 Football Semi Final win over Tipperary on the scoreline: Kerry 3-11 Tipperary 1-6.

This is a major achievement Seán and we at Cordal GAA Club are extremely proud of you.

We also want to wish to congratulate Luka Brosnan of Desmonds and Gearoid Lyne – two players with great Cordal connections.

We also want to wish the best of luck to the two Scart boys Eddie Horan and Shay Walsh who are also part of the Cordal/Scart Minor squad and to David Shanahan of Desmonds.

No Luck for Kayla and Kerry Minors

Well done to Cordal’s Kayla O’Connor who lined on with the Kerry Minor Ladies on Monday in the Munster Final.

The ladies were outdone by Cork who scored 6-11 to Kerry’s 1-10.

Lisa McHugh Launch Night

A great night was had by all in Hughes Bar, Cordal on Saturday nigh for the official launch of the Cordal GAA 2017 Fundraiser, The Lisa McHugh Concert.

put on a DVD she sent down to Cordal GAA Club for the night and in preparation for her concert.

There were great festivities on the night with a raffle and a Best Dressed competition.

April Lotto Results

The numbers called were 09, 11, 18 and 32. There was no winner of the April Lotto. The lucky dips were won by:  Marie Cronin, Knockardtry; Elaine O’Donoghue, Cahereen Heights; Ger Heffernan, Rockchapel; Conor Cremin, Knockrour and Timmy Leen, c/o The Kingdom House.

Cordal Out of Junior Championship

Cordal seniors were knocked out of the Junior Club Championship after their quarter final clash with Lispole which resulted in a harrowing defeat on April 23rd.

The final score gave Lispole a well deserved win at 3-13 to Cordal’s 0-11. Hard Luck lads!
